One of the biggest problems in salesmanship is that people do not know how to close sales. Average closing ratio right now in the U.S. is between 23-27%. And, alarmingly, 75% of consumers purchase the same day that they actually shop for the product. The close is a process that starts at the beginning of the sale. Most salespeople wait until the end to close or they do not close at all. There is a big difference between show and tell and show and sell! We are going to discuss the seven types of closes, how to close all the way through, using profile-correct closes, and how to be so smooth at closing the client doesn't know you are doing it, but they know they want the product.

Embee Diamonds Breakfast Session

A Perspective on Cut

Join master diamond cutter, Mike Botha and a panel of industry leaders for an informative breakfast as we explore the fine art of diamond cutting and polishing- the key factors that make the cut.

This interactive session will answer a lot of the questions you may have about why some diamonds simply outperform others and what you need to ask your preferred supplier of loose diamonds when investing in inventory. In a market saturated with branded round-brilliants, this interactive session will focus on getting beyond all the hype and back to the basics of taking the gems supplied by the earth, and turning these into objects of desire, passion, love & commitment which you can sell, with confidence.

Getting technical by going beyond all the digging and painting and understanding the finer art of facet definition. At the end of our session, you will be equipped with the knowledge that a well-cut diamond must comply with the basic principles:

  • Correct angles of facets in facet groups
  • Correct index of facets in facet groups
  • Major and minor symmetry
  • Concentricity of the girdle
  • Proper proportions
  • Finish

Any questions about diamonds you may have, why not fire off an email to ebee@embeediatech.ca and we will work it into our session - any of the questions you and your staff get asked.

The cutting and polishing experience continues at booth 513.
